The PCC-Basic crimping machine is designed for the production of high-quality power cables. Precise crimp connections are made between two- or three-core sheathed cables and power plugs.
The insertion mask and the optional colour detection supports the correct feeding of cables by the machine operator. The plugs and the prepared, stripped wires are fed manually by hand.
The machine protection closes automatically and starts the crimping process. The crimping applicator connects the multi-core cables and plugs reproducibly and with high precision.
In order to increase productivity Schäfer offers further machine variants which enable the automatic feeding of plug bridges and stripping of the wires.
The optional crimp force monitoring supports the quality assurance during cable processing. Deviations from the referenced crimp force are immediately signaled to the machine operator to avoid the use of wires with faulty crimp connections in the further process.
The high-grade equipment of the PCC-Basic stands for best production quality. Due to its robust design and modular construction, the machine requires less maintenance and reduces set-up times to a minimum.
The crimping machine for production of high quality connections in terminal and wire processing fully complies with the European directives regarding mechanical and electrical safety as well as electromagnetic compatibility.
