With the SQM 4.0 retrofit module from Schäfer, you upgrade existing machines with the latest generation of our crimp force monitoring system, the BB07i4, and enable networking with your MES and ERP system. In this regard, the retrofit module can be provided for monitoring for one as well as for two wires, depending on customer requirements.

High compatibility

The usual crimp force monitoring systems are compatible with the SQM 4.0 using different sensor types. The retrofit module thus optimizes quality assurance through state-of-the-art defect detection and reduces defect costs through lower pseudo defect counts.

Customer system connection

SQM 4.0 enables existing machines to communicate with Schäfer Connect. This creates a standardized OPC UA connection of production and quality data to the customer’s MES and ERP system.

Central machine management

Using an intuitive dashboard, Schäfer Connect lets you exchange production data with networked machines from anywhere and coordinate user rights. The retrofit module with Connect thus helps modernize your production on the way to Industry 4.0 and makes produced quality transparent and traceable for you.
