Use of the machine
The sealcleaner is used for cleaning and drying of loose seals in different geometry and size. The cleaning prevents the quick contamination of the seal feed unit in wire processing machines and supports a safe and trouble-free processing of seals in cable manufacturing systems.
Preparatory work
For easy filling with seals, the drum of the sealcleaner can be removed and placed upright. The cleaning time is set and started with a timer. An adjustable air flow and special cloths in the drum ensure thorough cleaning.
Cleaning and removal of the seals
After the set time has elapsed, the seal cleaner stops automatically. The drum is removed in order to pour the seals for the pending wire assembly, for example into the Seal Kit of a crimping machine. Schäfer recommends to clean oil-contaminated seals before use on cable manufacturing systems.
