Effective immediately, U. Kolb Werkzeug Vertriebs GmbH was fully integrated into Schäfer Werkzeug- und Sondermaschinenbau GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Schäfer). This strategic acquisition aims to sustainably strengthen Schäfer’s market position and expand its service portfolio.

Expansion of the portfolio to include encapsulation technology

U. Kolb Werkzeug Vertriebs GmbH has extensive experience in the sales and service of products for wire and terminal processing. With innovative machines and molds for plastic injection molding technology, especially in the hotmelt sector, the company also offered individual solutions for encapsulating cable connections.

Schäfer fully integrates the hotmelt encapsulation technology products into its own portfolio and will offer tools, machines, and materials from a single source in the future.
