Schäfer successfull at Productronica 2019

Customer interest focused on several innovations, which were presented for the first time. These included Schäfer Assist, audiovisual support for remote service and training, and Schäfer Connect, software for networking a machine park. The fully automatic robot system AuveM with integrated cutting and stripping machine SAM1 as well as a crimping machine was demonstrated live in action. The modular machine concept with a new housing met with just as much interest as the newly developed SDS100 crimp force sensor. In the field of quality assurance for crimp connections, Schäfer also presented the new SQS15 pull-off force measuring device with the mobile SQS02-P micrograph laboratory. The fully automatic Megomat 1000 crimping machine was used to present the new FA500 tinning station, rotary positioning of two conductor cables as well as processing of turned contacts.
